Surrounded by beaches and the sand dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore, Provincetown, or "P-town" was the site of the Pilgrims' first landing and the signing of the Mayflower Compact in 1620. A Portuguese fishing village founded here in the early 1700s grew to become an important fishing and whaling port, and in 1916 The Boston Globe called P-town “the biggest art colony in the world.” Throughout the 20th century, Provincetown was home to many well-known artists and writers as it developed into an artists' colony and summer resort, first popular among bohemians and other free thinkers.
Proud of its rich heritage, Provincetown today remains a vacation and play destination for visitors from across the country. The Provincetown Tourism Office can boast that P-town has been voted the "best gay resort town" and remains the number one destination for same-sex weddings in America. Ten Tables is excited to be a part of this magical, diverse community, bringing our philosophy, food, and service to a place where we already fit in perfectly. Creating
Ten Tables Restaurant & Bar P-town has expanded opportunities for us to work more closely with our local Wellfleet-based shellfish purveyor and to create new relationships with local fisherman and Cape Cod farmers alike.
Located in a classic, restored Victorian home, Ten Tables Restaurant & Bar P-town spans two floors and features a fireplace and beautiful outdoor patio. The main dining room remains true to our name and original concept, and has just ten tables. Upstairs, a spacious bar and lounge area boasting four big, beautiful skylights offers beer, wine, and cocktails, and a bar menu featuring a delicious array of lighter options. Additionally, guests may reserve our private "Chef's Tasting Room" space for meals and events that require accommodation for larger parties.
When your travels bring you to Cape Cod, we hope you'll join us at the new Ten Tables Restaurant & Bar Provincetown. Until then, see you in JP and Cambridge!
We officially opened for our 3rd season on April 4th, 2013.
